Do flat warts affect pregnancy?

Flat warts are an infectious disease, so they will definitely have an impact on pregnant women. But this disease is not hereditary, so don't worry too much. Pregnant women need to actively cooperate with treatment and avoid taking irritating drugs. Although it is not hereditary, it can be passed on to children. Either get treatment before the baby is born, or have the baby later. Pregnant women need to pay special attention to their diet. They should eat more nutritious foods and less protein-containing foods.

The lesions caused by flat warts are mainly on the skin. The main pathological changes of the skin caused are: hyperkeratosis and abnormal proliferation of the epidermal stratum corneum and stratum spinosum cells, which lead to hypertrophy of the epidermis and the appearance of slightly protruding warts. Flat warts are caused by human papillomavirus, which is not in the body or blood, but under the epidermis of the skin, just like the crops, trees, flowers and plants on the surface, which have roots under the ground and will grow on the surface. A plant has a root, the flat wart virus, under the epidermis, and flat warts will grow on the skin. The flat wart virus relies on the circulation of subcutaneous capillaries to continuously move and expand, causing and spreading more flat warts.

Due to the large number of flat warts, it is not easy to completely eradicate them and the recurrence rate is very high. After the flat wart antigens placed in the fat layer enter the blood or tissue, they will stimulate the body to produce a specific immune response, release cytokines, kill the flat wart virus epidermal cells, and attack the flat warts and fall off by themselves, so as to achieve the purpose of cure.

Although flat warts are contagious, they are not hereditary and will not be passed on to the next generation. However, flat warts may become cancerous, so you need to see a doctor as soon as possible.

Flat warts are a disease caused by a virus. The virus is small and smooth in shape, brown or flesh-colored, can multiply in large numbers, and often grow on the face, neck, wrists, and feet. But it will not enter the blood, so it will not cause any impact on the fetus for the time being. However, when the child is born, the mother can easily transmit it to the baby during feeding. Therefore, pregnant women with flat warts should immediately go to a regular dermatology hospital for reasonable treatment.
