The problem that men and women often encounter in their sexual lives is contraception. Although there are many methods of contraception, the most commonly chosen ones are condoms, contraceptive rings for women, and contraceptive films. Any contraceptive method should have an impact on people's bodies, but the degree of impact varies. So is the contraceptive film harmful to the body? (1) Contraceptive film is a type of external contraceptive. Currently, the commonly used contraceptive films are mostly made of nonoxynol as the main ingredient and polyvinyl alcohol as the water-soluble film-forming material. Nonoxynol has the characteristics of rapid and efficient spermicidal effect. Five minutes before sexual intercourse, the drug film should be rolled into a ball and inserted deep into the vagina. After dissolving in the vagina, nonoxynol can interact with the lipoprotein membrane of sperm cells, change the permeability of sperm cells, kill sperm or make sperm lose their vitality, thus making it difficult for sperm to pass through the cervix to complete fertilization, thereby achieving the purpose of contraception. (2) The contraceptive film can only guarantee one-time contraception. If you want to have sex again, you need to use it again. After having sex, you cannot rinse the vagina immediately. If you don't wash it, it will be absorbed and excreted from the body with vaginal secretions, and will not cause any harm to the body. Only one film can be inserted before each sexual intercourse. Putting more than one film will make it difficult to dissolve and will affect the effect. If there is no sexual intercourse within 30 minutes after insertion, another film should be put in. The film should be rolled into a soft small ball and not too tight, otherwise it will affect the dissolution. Women with less vaginal secretions find it difficult to dissolve the film and it is best not to use this contraceptive method. After the film is inserted into the vagina, you should avoid getting up. Each film should be separated by moisture-proof paper. It should not come into contact with water during storage or use. Do not take the isolation paper by mistake when taking it. Contraceptive films cannot be used in combination with contraceptive creams, contraceptive suppositories and other oily drugs. The film should be stored in a cool and dry place. In the past, many women would not take birth control pills because they thought they would cause too much harm to the body. However, with the development of medicine today, sometimes taking birth control pills is good for the body. It may alleviate gynecological diseases and make your skin better. For contraceptive membranes, the side effects are relatively small. If used properly, they will not cause harm to the body. |
