How to see follicles by B-ultrasound

B-ultrasound is an increasingly common method of physical examination in modern society. It is generally suitable for women. In addition to observing the vital signs of the fetus, it can also be used to detect certain abnormal diseases. Our follicles can also be detected through B-ultrasound, but many people do not know its specific views, or have not understood its specific views. So how does B-ultrasound look at follicles?

Both abdominal B-ultrasound and vaginal B-ultrasound can be used to monitor follicles. However, vaginal B-ultrasound is the most commonly used and effective method because it is close to the ovaries, the images are clearer, the results are smaller in error, and the results are more accurate. When monitoring follicles with abdominal B-ultrasound, because there are many organs in the pelvic cavity, it is often necessary to hold urine before the examination to push the uterus and ovaries upwards for a more convenient examination. The displayed image is not as clear as that of vaginal B-ultrasound. Monitoring of follicles needs to start ten days after the end of menstruation, and it is usually necessary to test it every other day. In the later stages, it needs to be tested every day. If abdominal B-ultrasound is used, it will be more troublesome than vaginal B-ultrasound. Therefore, vaginal B-ultrasound is more commonly used to monitor follicles.

Time: Be sure to pay attention to time when monitoring follicles. The time to start monitoring follicles is generally ten days after the end of menstruation. At this time, it is recommended to monitor once every other day. When the diameter of the follicle reaches about 18 mm, the monitoring time can be changed to once a day. When the diameter of the follicle reaches 20 mm, it can even be monitored twice a day.

Persistence: Monitoring follicles is an ongoing process for women and requires persistence. In addition, many women have longer menstrual cycles, so their ovulation period is also longer than that of ordinary women, so more monitoring time is needed. At this time, women need to persist. If there are some factors affecting it, you can use some ovulation-promoting drugs as prescribed by your doctor to shorten the ovulation period and speed up the release of eggs.

Treatment: If monitoring reveals that the eggs cannot be discharged normally, or if it is found that the woman suffers from ovulation disorders or other diseases that affect ovulation, the woman must follow the doctor's advice and cooperate with the doctor to actively receive treatment. Reducing psychological stress is more conducive to pregnancy.
