Successful experience in preparing for a second pregnancy with a boy

Since the second-child policy was opened, many couples have been planning to have a second child. Since they are preparing for pregnancy, they will use some little tricks when doing so. Many couples hope to have a boy and a girl. This is what people often call having both a son and a daughter, making up a good word. If the first child is a girl, many couples who are preparing to have a second child will prefer a boy.

Method 1

Salty food There is a saying in South Africa that "salty men and sweet women" and it was recently confirmed by scientists. South African scientists believe that eating red meat and salty fast food will lead to the birth of a boy, while eating chocolate will help to conceive a girl.

Method 2

Gecko, especially its tail, contains high levels of androgen, which can stimulate and regulate the female gonad axis to a certain extent. But at the same time, it may also increase female ovulation. If a woman becomes pregnant while taking gecko, the fetus is prone to twins or multiple births.

Method 3

Alkaline foods: According to scientists' research on food, some foods are acidic, while others are alkaline. If a couple really wants to have a boy during the family planning process, then in order to increase the chance of having a boy, the woman should eat more alkaline foods, because this type of food can balance the acidity and alkalinity of the human body, making the human body alkaline and increasing the chances of smooth fertilization and combination between Y and sperm. Generally speaking, alkaline foods include fresh vegetables, milk, oranges, bananas, kelp, etc.

Method 4

High-calorie foods British scientists have found that there may be a certain correlation between the baby's gender and its mother's eating habits before pregnancy. But some experts said the findings need to be tested by further research. The gender of a baby is determined by a chromosome in the sperm, an X chromosome for girls and a Y chromosome for boys. A man's diet changes the ratio of carrying an X or Y chromosome. In addition, diet can affect the environment of the uterus, making it more suitable for X-chromosome-carrying sperm or Y-chromosome-carrying sperm.

Precautions for pregnancy preparation

1. Have a physical examination before pregnancy. This is a test that both husband and wife need to undergo. Especially for women who are preparing to become pregnant, in addition to routine examinations of the heart, liver, kidneys, etc., they should also focus on examining the reproductive system. If you have a sexually transmitted disease, you should wait until you are fully treated before becoming pregnant.

2. Take folic acid orally one month before pregnancy. Taking folic acid can prevent neurodevelopmental disorders. If you do not take folic acid in time before pregnancy, you should continue to supplement it after pregnancy until the 12th week of pregnancy.

3. Pay special attention to health care during pregnancy and ensure regular prenatal checkups.

4. Down syndrome screening should be performed during 16-20 weeks of pregnancy. This test involves extracting blood from the pregnant woman and testing the amount and concentration of various substances in the blood in order to determine possible diseases that may occur in the fetus.

5. Amniocentesis should be performed after 20 weeks of pregnancy. This examination is not necessary for normal young pregnant women. Studies have shown that the older the pregnant woman is, the higher the incidence of congenital idiocy and fetal deformities. This is because as women age, their ovaries gradually age and degenerate, the eggs they produce naturally age, and the chance of chromosomal abnormalities increases. This test can directly obtain the number of chromosomes, and based on the test results, it can be determined whether the fetus has abnormalities. There is a 0.5% chance that this test will result in miscarriage.
