Tearing sensation in the perineum: Third-degree perineal laceration or complete perineal laceration includes laceration of the vaginal opening, perineal laceration and anal sphincter. In severe cases, the rupture can extend to the rectal wall, causing fecal and gas incontinence. The cause of the disease is mostly due to improper handling of the delivery process, occasionally caused by trauma.
