Soft breasts, is it pregnancy?

The breasts of normal women have a certain degree of softness, and this softness generally does not change. Some women feel that their breasts have become softer recently than before, and they begin to become anxious and wonder if they have some breast disease. Some women who are trying to get pregnant doubt whether they are pregnant. So, does tender breasts mean you are pregnant?

1. Will the breasts become soft in early pregnancy?

In order to meet the needs of postpartum breastfeeding, the breasts will gradually become larger and softer, which is a normal phenomenon. If you experience breast tenderness, obvious lumps, redness, and swelling, you should pay attention to it. The most obvious symptom of early pregnancy is the cessation of menstruation. In addition, pregnant women may also experience breast swelling, frequent urination, mild vaginal bleeding, nausea, headache, dizziness, and emotional instability. If you find the above symptoms, you should take an early pregnancy test in time. In the early stages of pregnancy, the breasts do become soft, but the tenderness of a single breast does not necessarily mean pregnancy, and a specific pregnancy test is needed to confirm it.

2. Symptoms of early pregnancy

1. Stopping of menstruation

If a couple has sexual intercourse around the ovulation period without taking any contraceptive measures, and their menstrual cycles are normal, but they suddenly experience amenorrhea symptoms for more than 5 days, they may be pregnant.

2. Nausea and vomiting

Starting from around the 5th week of pregnancy, many pregnant women will experience morning sickness, especially in the morning and evening. When you first become pregnant, the level of human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) in your body begins to increase. The higher the level of this hormone, the more likely you are to feel nauseous.

3. Breast enlargement and tenderness

In the week or two after conception, your breasts will become larger and more tender. Due to the stimulation of pregnancy, the pregnant woman's body will produce a lot of estrogen and progesterone, causing the glands in the breasts to begin to grow, so the breasts will become larger. These hormones also cause the breasts to retain more fluid, so they may become sore and tender.

4. Increased leucorrhea

After pregnancy, the estrogen in the body gradually increases with the advancement of pregnancy months. Estrogen can promote the secretion of mucus by the cervix and endometrial glands. The blood flow in the genitals, vagina, and cervix of pregnant women is vigorous, the tissue water increases, and therefore the amount of leucorrhea also increases.

5. Mild vaginal bleeding

The fertilized egg will implant in the uterus within 6-12 days after conception, which may cause slight vaginal bleeding in pregnant women. Implantation bleeding of the fertilized egg manifests as a small amount of blood or blood spots, without the discomfort during menstruation.

6. Loss of appetite

Loss of appetite may begin as early as 2 weeks after conception. Because the secretion of flavonoids will reduce the functions of many body systems and affect the digestive system, it may sometimes cause constipation and indigestion.

7. Physical fatigue

Some pregnant women's bodies secrete a hormone that acts like an anesthetic. Its main ingredient is progesterone, which mainly acts on the uterus.

This progesterone causes your body temperature to rise and your heart rate to increase to supply more oxygen to the uterus, causing you to feel tired.
