What are the symptoms of an ectopic pregnancy after transplant?

In the eyes of many people, ectopic pregnancy will definitely not occur with IVF. In fact, this understanding is wrong. Even with IVF, if there is a problem with a woman's fallopian tubes, the fallopian tubes may not move normally, and the embryo cannot be delivered to the uterine cavity. Then, an ectopic pregnancy after transplantation will occur. What are the symptoms of ectopic pregnancy in this case?

Symptoms of ectopic pregnancy after transplantation:

1. Abdominal pain: Abdominal pain is the main symptom of ectopic pregnancy. Pain in the lower abdomen, a feeling of defecation, sometimes severe pain, accompanied by cold sweat. Abdominal pain in patients with ectopic pregnancy is caused by multiple factors such as fallopian tube expansion, rupture, and blood irritating the peritoneum. When the fallopian tube ruptures, the patient will suddenly feel a tearing pain in one side of the lower abdomen, accompanied by nausea and vomiting.

2. Amenorrhea: Menstruation is delayed for several days to dozens of days, and the disease often occurs without being detected. Generally, menopause is accompanied by symptoms such as abdominal pain and vaginal bleeding, which require pregnant mothers to pay more attention.

3. Vaginal bleeding: Vaginal bleeding is a typical symptom of ectopic pregnancy, which is different from intrauterine pregnancy. It often manifests as irregular bleeding, dark brown in color, and less in amount, generally not exceeding the amount of menstruation, but it will be spotty. It is easy to be confused with threatened abortion and requires high vigilance.

4. Syncope and shock: Patients with ectopic pregnancy may suffer from decreased blood volume and severe abdominal pain due to acute intra-abdominal bleeding. In mild cases, syncope may occur, and there may be nausea, vomiting, and frequent urination. In severe cases, shock may occur.

5. If the pregnancy test is positive, ultrasound scan or laparoscopy can assist in the diagnosis.

The treatment of ectopic pregnancy is mainly surgical. While correcting shock, laparotomy and removal of the diseased fallopian tube are performed. If you want to preserve your fertility, you can also cut the fallopian tube and remove the fertilized egg.

As long as the test tube baby is transplanted into the uterus, it is the same as a normal pregnancy. However, the chance of ectopic pregnancy with IVF is very low. What is ectopic pregnancy? Ectopic pregnancy, also known as ectopic pregnancy, refers to the abnormal pregnancy process in which the fertilized egg implants and develops outside the uterine cavity, with fallopian tube pregnancy being the most common. Inflammation in the fallopian tube lumen or its surroundings often causes poor patency of the lumen, hindering the normal operation of the fertilized egg, causing it to stay, implant and develop in the fallopian tube, leading to miscarriage or rupture of the fallopian tube pregnancy. There are often no obvious symptoms before miscarriage or rupture, but there may also be symptoms of amenorrhea, abdominal pain, and a small amount of vaginal bleeding. Once ruptured, symptoms include acute and severe abdominal pain, repeated attacks, vaginal bleeding, and even shock. Women who are too obese cannot receive a clear diagnosis due to multiple tests, which can easily delay treatment and pose a serious threat.

If you are not considering becoming a mother for the time being, you must use good contraception. Good contraception can fundamentally prevent the occurrence of ectopic pregnancy. At the same time, attention should be paid to timely treatment of reproductive system diseases, attention to hygiene during menstruation, delivery and postpartum period, and prevention of reproductive system infections. Go to the hospital for examination as soon as possible after menopause to determine the location of the pregnancy. Obese women are advised to keep their weight within a reasonable range before pregnancy.
