What are the reasons for stable milk

Breast milk is the best food for babies and provides the best nutrition for their growth and development. However, in the process of breastfeeding, many mothers will find that their milk is not very stable. Sometimes there is a lot of milk, and sometimes there is not enough milk for the baby. This phenomenon confuses many mothers. They don’t know what is going on and what method can be used to solve this problem.

1. Baby's confusion about the nipple

Some babies will be unwilling to suck from their mother's breast after drinking from a bottle, because drinking from a bottle is easy and does not require much effort, while they need to put a lot of effort into sucking from their mother's breast. Over time, the mother's breasts can no longer be stimulated to produce milk, resulting in a decrease in milk supply. Therefore, the mother can reduce bottle feeding appropriately and have more skin contact with the baby whenever she has time, so that the baby can get familiar with the mother's taste and feeling.

2. Lactation and menstruation

During menstruation, mothers' blood calcium levels change due to hormonal changes, which can also affect milk supply. But don't worry too much. As long as you breastfeed and express milk frequently, your hormone secretion will be balanced after your period ends and your milk supply will return to normal.

3. Breast blockage

Breast blockage is caused by the milk in the mammary glands clumping together due to fat, which causes the milk to accumulate in the mammary glands, thereby reducing the supply and secretion of breast milk. When this happens, you must insist on breastfeeding. Stopping breastfeeding may cause milk stasis for too long and form abscesses, which may worsen into mastitis.

4. Excessive intake of foods that may cause milk withdrawal

If some mothers experience milk dryness after eating certain foods such as leeks and ginseng, they don't need to be too nervous. This short-term reduction in milk supply can be restored by letting the baby suck more and expressing breast milk frequently.

5. Unbalanced nutrition

If the mother is in a state of nutritional imbalance for a long time, the secretion of milk will naturally be affected. It is not allowed to eat more than 20 eggs a day to replenish the body or to eat only vegetables every day to lose weight after childbirth. Balanced nutrition is very important, which also catalyzes the secretion of milk.

6. Too much stress

New mothers have just become mothers. In addition to adjusting physically, they are also adjusting mentally. Suddenly I had a baby in my arms who could cry and laugh, and I was at a loss what to do in many situations. Therefore, under such influence, emotions are prone to fluctuate, and even depression may occur, which will also affect the secretion of breast milk.

Faced with such pressure, mothers must learn to comfort themselves, and fathers should also communicate more with their wives, enlighten them, and not let negative emotions affect them. If the mother's breast milk is indeed insufficient, the baby can be supplemented with prebiotic lactoferrin powder. This can not only provide the baby with adequate nutrition, improve the baby's resistance, and ensure the baby's growth and development with balanced nutrition, but also relieve the psychological pressure of mothers caused by insufficient milk.
