Is baking soda effective in treating gynecological diseases?

When it comes to using baking soda to treat gynecological diseases, many people will find it incredible, but in fact, this method is still used by many people in life. However, whether baking soda is effective in treating gynecological diseases depends on the symptomatic treatment. Usually, baking soda can inhibit sweating and help remove blackheads. In the face of common vaginal inflammation or candidal vaginitis, if it is used correctly, it can relieve and treat it to a certain extent. However, if these inflammations worsen, you must go to the hospital for treatment as soon as possible, and you cannot rely on the use of baking soda for long-term treatment, so as not to delay and aggravate the disease.

1. Inhibit sweating

Summer is here and sweating increases. If you have a sweaty physique and always have a strong sweat odor on your body, you might as well apply about a teaspoon of baking soda water on areas with more sweat glands such as your armpits and feet. This can effectively reduce the total amount of sweat excreted in a day and reduce body odor.

2. Treat vaginal inflammation

The baking soda used to treat vaginal inflammation refers to 0.9% sodium bicarbonate, usually 10ml/tube, which is sold in general pharmacies or hospitals. It should be noted that baking soda water should be diluted to a certain concentration before flushing the external vagina, so as to avoid causing an imbalance in the acidity and alkalinity of the vagina, which will make the inflammation more severe. In addition, if the condition has not been relieved, you should seek medical treatment as soon as possible and do not use baking soda water for a long time.

3. Remove blackheads

Baking soda water is weakly alkaline and can dissolve and remove oil and dirt remaining in the pores of our skin. Under alkaline conditions, oil will undergo a saponification reaction to produce glycerin and phytate. Glycerin and phytate are both water-soluble, and blackheads are excess oil secreted by the body. Therefore, applying baking soda water on the nose and other places with more blackheads for about 15 minutes can effectively dissolve the produced substances in the water and achieve a good blackhead removal effect.

4. Gynecology for fungal vaginitis

Use 2%-4% solution for sitz bath once a night, 500-1000 ml each time, for 7 consecutive days. Topical ear drops can soften wax (3% solution, 3-4 times a day).
