Does a cold uterus affect a woman’s pregnancy?

Uterine cold is a symptom that has a greater impact on women. The fundamental reason for its occurrence is that women's resistance is low, resulting in the inability to suppress the disease factors. The main part of the uterus where cold uterus occurs is the uterus. In severe cases, it can expand to the fallopian tubes and other parts, causing great damage to women's lives. So, does a cold uterus affect women’s pregnancy? What are the symptoms?

Uterine cold infertility is believed to be caused by the coldness of the uterus. Failure to achieve pregnancy despite normal sexual life without any contraceptive measures is called infertility. When women are infertile due to cold uterus, it is called uterine cold infertility. The main symptoms are cold sensation and pain in the lower abdomen, thin and clear leucorrhea, and dysmenorrhea.

Symptoms of uterine cold and infertility

1. Weight gain. Another symptom of uterine cold is weight gain all over the body, accompanied by symptoms such as shortness of breath, fatigue, insomnia, scanty menstruation, and anovulation. The uterus lacks heat, and in order to maintain its own physiological functions, fat acts as a "uterus protector". The colder the uterus, the more the body needs to store fat, which causes weight gain.

2. Abnormal menstruation, with a feeling of heaviness in the lower abdomen before menstruation, increased vaginal discharge, lower back pain, and breast tenderness. A few women experience nausea and vomiting. There is abdominal pain during menstruation, a cold lower abdomen, and dark menstrual blood with blood clots. Some women suffer from dysmenorrhea to an unbearable degree. Since cold and warmth are the barometers of women's physical health, if the uterus is warm, the qi and blood in the body will flow smoothly, and the "seeds" planted will easily develop into a fetus; if the uterus is cold, the qi and blood will coagulate when they encounter cold, and not only will the body shape not be maintained, but infertility will also be caused.

Traditional Chinese medicine believes that uterine cold is related to kidney deficiency, spleen deficiency, blood deficiency, liver depression, phlegm and dampness, damp heat, and blood stasis. Western medicine believes that such symptoms are mostly related to age factors, nutritional factors, mental factors, endocrine factors (hypothalamus, thyroid, adrenal glands, pancreas), developmental factors, inflammation, tumors, etc.
