Pay attention to these reasons for scanty menstruation!

Low menstrual volume is a relatively serious disease, which will lead to poor hormone secretion levels and endocrine disorders. Patients with low menstrual volume need to go to the hospital for a detailed examination, usually through hormone secretion testing and endocrine examinations, including whether the various organs of the body are underdeveloped, and whether the female's uterus or vagina is normal. Reasonable judgments must be made, because these are the main factors that can easily cause low menstrual volume.

1. Caused by low estrogen levels. Estrogen stimulates the thickening of the endometrium in preparation for conception. If conception does not occur, the proliferating endometrium will shed and bleed to form menstruation. Low estrogen levels in the body can cause the endometrium to not grow thick enough and result in less menstrual bleeding, which can affect conception in the future.

2. Caused by endocrine system diseases. If the amount of menstrual blood continues to be too little after the menstrual cycle becomes stable, you need to go to the hospital as soon as possible. In severe cases, it may lead to amenorrhea. Because tuberculous lesions destroy part of the endometrium, it is necessary to check the estrogen level and the size of the uterus. If the estrogen level is low, we need to find out the reason for the low level.

3. Caused by uterine hypoplasia . A small number of women have had scanty menstruation after their menarche, which may be due to individual differences. At the same time, if their physical development is not ideal, such as unclear breast and buttock development, they should be alert to see whether their ovulation and reproductive functions are normal to prevent infertility during their childbearing age. The clinical manifestations are a small uterus, anteverted uterus, retroverted uterus, and insufficient estrogen secretion, which will affect ovarian function.

4. Caused by organic diseases. Uterine diseases such as endometrial hypoplasia, scanty menstruation in women of childbearing age, or symptoms such as low back pain, dysmenorrhea, fatigue, abnormal leucorrhea, vulvar itching, or abnormal vaginal bleeding. Vaginal diseases, pelvic diseases, cervical diseases and other factors can cause women to have too little menstruation or even amenorrhea.
