How does postpartum rheumatism occur?

Some mothers develop postpartum rheumatism after giving birth. It is very likely that they did not receive proper care during the confinement period. After giving birth, the mother's body is relatively weak and her immune system is much lower, so it takes a month to recuperate and recover. During the confinement period, female friends must take good care of themselves in order to avoid the occurrence of sequelae.

Postpartum rheumatism refers to a disease in which women of childbearing age are exposed to wind, cold and dampness after childbirth or artificial abortion, or due to improper care during the confinement period, and the main symptoms are soreness and pain in the limbs and joints, numbness and discomfort, fear of wind and cold. Traditional Chinese medicine has such terms as "postpartum wind" and "postpartum arthritis". There is no name for this disease in Western medicine. Some people call it muscular rheumatism or neurosis. Even some doctors in clinical practice tend to misdiagnose this disease as rheumatoid arthritis or rheumatoid arthritis.
