Precautions for pregnant women

Precautions for pregnant women

After a woman becomes pregnant, she should not engage in any behavior that may harm the health of the fetus, regardless of her daily living or work habits. In terms of diet, pregnant women should avoid eating spicy and irritating foods, avoid eating out-of-season vegetables and fruits, and should eat more foods rich in vitamins and protein. In life, we see that some pregnant women have upper pregnancy and some have lower pregnancy. So what are the precautions for pregnant women? Let’s take a look together.

1. Check your cervix regularly

Since the fetus is located closer to the cervix, you need to go to the hospital for regular check-ups, usually at 16 weeks. If the cervix is found to be short, a cerclage is needed, otherwise the cervix is prone to premature rupture of the amniotic membrane. Simply put, the fetus cannot be held down, and will eventually result in what we call "premature birth." Premature birth can have a huge impact on the health of the fetus, so regular check-ups are essential.

2. Exercise more in moderation

Although pregnant women with a lower uterus may find it difficult to move and get tired more easily, they must exercise as much as possible if they want to have a natural birth. Less exercise is not conducive to normal delivery. On the one hand, it is because pregnant women lack physical strength, and on the other hand, it is easy to cause edema. Moreover, when the mother is exercising, the baby in her belly will also exercise, which will be of great help to the baby's health. Of course, you should also pay attention to protecting yourself and the fetus during exercise.

3. Pay attention to genital hygiene

Because the fetus in the lower part of the womb is closer to the genitals, and because it is in the lower part of the womb, the uterus exerts more severe pressure on the bladder, so pregnant women with lower part of the womb will most likely have symptoms of frequent urination. At this time, you must pay attention to cleaning the genitals in time, otherwise the fetus is closer to the genitals and is more likely to be affected by germs or bacteria, endangering its health.
