The symptoms of ulcer on the outer side of the labia majora are like this

Ulcers on the outer side of the labia majora are very painful for women. Not only do they make them feel unbearable pain and itching, but they also cause thick fluid to flow out, making them very embarrassed. In fact, there are many causes of ulcers on the outer side of the labia majora in women. Only after female friends understand the symptoms and receive symptomatic treatment can they be cured quickly. So what are the symptoms of ulcers on the outer side of the labia majora? Actually, there are 7 types, and female friends must distinguish them.

1 Fungal ulcers This is a common complication of acute fungal vulvitis. Ulcers are more likely to occur on the labia majora. They are pea-sized and red and swollen around the ulcers. There is white secretion on the surface of the ulcers. There is obvious tenderness and some are very itchy.

2 Bacterial ulcers are mostly caused by secondary bacterial infection of vulvar injuries such as vulvar straddle injury and friction injury. They are mainly caused by infection of mast bacillus. The ulcers are round in shape. The large ones are like silkworms and the small ones are like soybeans. There may be severe burning pain at the ulcer.

3. Viral ulcers

The most common ulcer is caused by the herpes simplex virus. It is a contagious disease. Ulcers are prone to occur in the labia, clitoris, and perineum. In the early stage, small round papules with red halos can be seen, which are symmetrical on both sides. They are often accompanied by fever and swollen inguinal lymph nodes. Some are also accompanied by pain when urinating.

4Syphilitic ulcer

It is a sexually transmitted disease. In the early stage of the disease, a hard lump appears at the infected site, and then an ulcer gradually develops. This disease often occurs at the edge of the labia majora, and the surrounding area is raised. The surface of the ulcer is granular and has secretions, but there is no obvious pain.

5. Protozoal ulcers are more common with amoebic ulcers. They are complications of chronic amoebic dysentery. The ulcers are mostly superficial and small in size. There are white fur and serous secretions on the surface.

6. Tuberculous ulcers are usually caused by the spread or extension of tuberculosis in other parts of the body. Ulcers are more likely to occur on the labia minora and perineum. The edges are clear and the surface may have yellow fur. Generally, they are not itchy or painful, but some are prone to bleeding.

7 Tumor ulcers are mainly caused by vulvar cancer. Ulcers often occur on the labia majora, clitoris, and urethra. The skin at the lesion turns white and the area is prone to bleeding and there is obvious pain.

There are different treatments for each type of labia ulcer. The most effective treatment for labia ulcers is to find out the cause of the vulvar ulcers that cause the labia ulcers and thoroughly treat the labia majora ulcers.
