What to do with postpartum gastroenteritis? Pay attention to these aspects

Women are very weak after giving birth. If they do not pay attention to their diet and regular work and rest schedule, it is easy to cause gastroenteritis, especially in summer and autumn. If gastroenteritis occurs after childbirth, the first thing to do is to adjust your diet. Regular and hygienic diet is crucial.

1. Eat regularly

Many people cannot control themselves when it comes to eating. They eat a lot when they see something delicious, and skip a meal when something doesn't suit their taste. This can easily cause gastric motility disorders, which in turn causes hyperfunction of the nerve plexus in the stomach wall, promoting the secretion of gastric juice, and over time, it will cause gastritis or gastric ulcers. Therefore, you should eat at regular times and in regular amounts, and never overeat.

2. Pay attention to food hygiene

When eating, you must chew slowly so that the food can be fully ground and mixed with saliva in the mouth. This can reduce the burden on the stomach and make food easier to digest. In addition, you should try to eat less irritating food, and avoid drinking alcohol and smoking.

3. Keep a happy spirit

The health of the stomach has a lot to do with mental factors. Therefore, special attention should be paid to diet control. It is advisable to eat light, soft, and warm food. Avoid eating fatty meat, fried, raw, cold, and hard foods too early, as well as high-fiber foods such as celery, leeks, garlic shoots, etc. About 2 to 3 days after the recovery period, you can eat your normal diet.
