Is it okay to use hyaluronic acid to fill tear troughs?

For some women who love beauty, tear troughs are a part that they pay great attention to. Once tear troughs appear, a prominent shadow will form under the eyes, giving people a haggard feeling. So how to use hyaluronic acid to fill tear troughs!

For middle-aged and elderly people with severe facial sagging and wrinkles, mid-face rhytidectomy can be used to improve tear troughs. However, for young people, there is currently no particularly ideal medical cosmetic method for tear troughs, and they are generally improved by injecting hyaluronic acid or autologous fat filling.

In the past, when faced with the problem of tear troughs, injecting hyaluronic acid was mostly considered the best way to deal with them. However, some plastic surgeons pointed out that although hyaluronic acid is the fastest and simplest method, it still needs to be judged according to each person's different conditions. If the tear trough is sunken because the tear trough ligament is relatively strong, or even a little bit of eye bags have appeared, it is still recommended to deal with the eye bags first and relax the tear trough ligament. Scarless eye bag surgery can be performed on the conjunctiva inside the eye without leaving scars. The advantage is that it can relax the tear trough ligament at the same time and transfer the eye bag fat to fill the tear trough area, thus fundamentally solving the defects in the human anatomical structure. In this case, there is generally no need to inject hyaluronic acid.

For people whose tear trough ligaments are not very strong and who do not have bags under their eyes, injecting hyaluronic acid is still a good solution. However, you must be especially careful when injecting hyaluronic acid around the eyes. It is usually recommended to fill the depression under the eyes first, in a place similar to the apple muscle, to form a solid support to avoid sagging in the middle of the face. Use the latest micro-blunt needles, inject from the outer corner of the eye to avoid damaging the blood vessels and the eyes, and inject each part evenly, covering it completely like laying a carpet. In addition, perform a lifting injection in the depression at the end of the eye to make the skin around the eye tighter and more lifted.
