I am a little bleeding after three months of pregnancy. What's going on?

When you are three and a half months pregnant, you have already reached the edge of the early pregnancy. At this time, pregnant women have basically gotten rid of the risk phase of early pregnancy. However, some pregnant women still have problems even though they have gotten through the early stages of pregnancy. Some pregnant women will experience bleeding at this time, so what is the reason for bleeding in three and a half months of pregnancy?

1. Physiological bleeding

After pregnancy, during the implantation and development stage of the gestational sac embryo, the small blood vessels of the uterine decidua may be injured. This is a physiological bleeding. It is usually self-limited and will stop automatically after a period of time. During this period, pay attention to supplement nutrition and rest in bed more.

2. Threatened abortion

Threatened abortion refers to vaginal bleeding that occurs in the early stages of pregnancy and stops immediately, accompanied by mild lower abdominal pain and back pain. It may cause miscarriage, or it may lead to pregnancy again after appropriate treatment. The main reason is that the pregnant woman has a weak constitution, or is fatigued, traumatized, or has improper vaginal hygiene and sexual life.

There are various causes of the disease, including factors related to the test tube embryo, the laws of nature, survival of the fittest, natural arrest in the development stage, or other reasons such as insufficient oxygen supply to the fetal umbilical cord, amniotic fluid disorders of the pregnant woman, viral infection of the fetus, and some gynecological inflammations, which can also lead to miscarriage. Malnutrition among pregnant women is also one of the causes of miscarriage. If the pregnant mother's mood fluctuates greatly or her health is poor, it may also cause threatened abortion. External force damage may also cause threatened abortion.

Threatened abortion is very common, but actual miscarriage only accounts for 10-15%. Therefore, some women can have a stable pregnancy, while others are not suitable for it.

3. Miscarriage is inevitable

Inevitable miscarriage means miscarriage is inevitable, usually caused by the development of threatened miscarriage, but with heavy vaginal bleeding, more intense paroxysmal abdominal pain, or vaginal discharge (amniotic fluid rupture). Please see a doctor immediately in this situation.

4. Ectopic pregnancy

When the embryo in the gestational sac is not implanted in the uterus, but an incorrect embryo is implanted in the extrauterine site and grows to a certain extent, it will cause the walls of both fallopian tubes to rupture, resulting in bleeding. This type of bleeding remains in the abdomen, and the amount of blood discharged through the vagina may not be much, but the side effects are usually serious, often causing fainting, shock, etc. If rescue is not timely, it may lead to the death of the patient.

Intravaginal B-ultrasound can be used to find the gestational sac, which can determine whether there is an ectopic pregnancy.

5. Hydatidiform mole

Molar pregnancy miscarriage usually begins in the 2nd to 3rd month of amenorrhea. This type of bleeding after pregnancy is usually intermittent, but some may have repeated heavy bleeding.

It is recommended to go to the hospital for a pregnancy check in the early stages of pregnancy to immediately confirm and eliminate the possibility of ectopic pregnancy and hydatidiform mole.
