What is the reason for early menstruation?

The menstrual cycle and time can reflect a woman's physical condition. If the menstruation comes early, it means that there are some problems in the body's internal environment, which may be caused by qi deficiency, blood heat, etc. Please see below for details.

Causes

The causes of this disease are mainly qi deficiency and blood heat. If Qi is deficient, it will have no power to control and Chong and Ren meridians will be unstable; if the blood is hot, the heat will disturb Chong and Ren meridians, injuring the uterus and causing restlessness in the sea of blood, all of which can lead to early menstruation.

1. Qi deficiency

It is mainly divided into two aspects: spleen qi deficiency and kidney qi deficiency.

1. Spleen deficiency

A weak constitution, improper diet, overwork, fatigue, or excessive worry can damage the spleen. When the spleen is injured, the vital energy in the body becomes weak, the Chong and Ren meridians become unstable, and menstrual blood becomes disordered, resulting in early menstruation. The spleen is the son of the heart. If the spleen qi is weak, it relies on the heart qi to save itself. Over time, the heart qi will also be damaged, leading to deficiency of heart and spleen qi, loss of control, and early menstruation.

2. Kidney Qi Deficiency

When young, the kidney qi is not sufficient, or the kidney qi gradually becomes weak before menopause, or the kidney qi is damaged due to frequent childbirth or sexual intercourse, or long-term illness damages the kidney, resulting in weak kidney qi, Chong and Ren meridians being unstable and unable to control menstrual blood, which leads to early onset of menstruation.

2. Blood Heat

It is often divided into yang-excess blood heat, yin-deficiency blood heat, and liver depression blood heat.

1. Yang excess and blood heat

The body is yang-dominant, or the patient eats too much spicy and dry food that boosts yang, or is affected by pathogenic heat, which can disturb the Chong and Ren meridians and the uterus, forcing the blood to flow downward, resulting in early menstruation.

2. Yin deficiency and blood heat

Premature menstruation may occur due to deficiency of Yin in the constitution, or loss of blood may damage Yin, or long-term illness may damage Yin, or frequent childbirth may lead to loss of essence and blood, resulting in loss of Yin fluid, internal generation of deficiency heat, hidden heat in Chong and Ren meridians, and restlessness in the sea of blood.

3. Liver depression and blood heat

Depression of a natural nature, or emotional injury, liver qi stagnation, which turns into heat over time, disturbs the Chong and Ren meridians, forces blood to move downward, and thus leads to early menstruation.
