Should breast nodules of type 4a be removed?

Breast cancer is a common malignant tumor. The exact cause of the disease is not yet very clear. It is related to family genetic susceptibility genes and personal physical constitution. Among them, the probability of breast cancer developing in women with a family history of breast cancer is relatively high. The condition described at this stage may be a manifestation of breast cancer, which requires immediate surgery or a puncture biopsy first. So, should a breast mass of type 4a be removed?

Should a breast mass of type 4a be removed?

Breast mass 4a indicates that it is considered to be breast cancer, grades one to three indicate good, and grades four and above indicate malignant transformation. However, ultrasound examination cannot make a complete diagnosis, and further examination is needed for diagnosis. Molybdenum target X-ray examination or puncture biopsy can be done to determine the characteristics through pathology. If the examination shows that it is indeed malignant, surgical removal is required, and radiotherapy or chemotherapy can be carried out after the operation according to the situation.

At present, breast imaging diagnostic examinations use bi-rads classification, and the classification standards are as follows:

Level 0 means that a follow-up visit is required and reassessment is required in combination with other tests. No abnormalities were found within Level 1. Grade 2 is good and regular follow-up is recommended. Grade 3 has a good probability of malignancy and the possibility of malignancy is less than 2%. It is recommended to follow up every 3 to 6 months. Level 4 takes into account the possibility of malignant transformation, among which the malignant transformation rate of level 4A is 2%-10%, the malignant transformation rate of level 4B is 10%-50%, and the malignant transformation rate of level 4c is 50%-94%. A puncture biopsy is recommended for all levels. Level 5 indicates a high suspicion of malignancy, with the possibility of malignancy exceeding or equal to 95%. Surgical treatment and puncture biopsy are also recommended. Grade 6 is pathologically confirmed malignant disease. For breast masses of category 4A, considering the high possibility of malignant transformation (the malignant transformation rate is about 2-10%), surgical removal is recommended, and the diagnosis is confirmed by pathology.

Breast mass examination belongs to category 4a. It is generally recommended to perform surgery to remove the mass or interventional surgery, and the removed mass should be subjected to pathological examination for diagnostic characteristics. Develop a good lifestyle on a daily basis, avoid spicy food, high-fat and high-cholesterol food, eat more fruits and vegetables, increase exercise appropriately, enhance resistance, maintain a happy mood, avoid anger, pay attention to rest, avoid staying up late and excessive fatigue. Get along with others and communicate more often to avoid being unhappy or even suffering from depression.
