Don't ignore ovarian enlargement, it can lead to infertility

Ovarian disease is a common gynecological disease in women, which poses a great threat to women's physical health. As part of the female reproductive organs, the ovaries must be taken seriously, otherwise the serious consequence of infertility will be dangerous. Ovarian enlargement is also called ovarian tumor. So what are the causes of ovarian enlargement?

1. Causes of ovarian enlargement

1. Ovarian tumor

A swelling or enlargement of the ovaries is called an ovarian tumor. In terms of physiology, it mainly includes two diseases: follicular cyst and corpus luteum cyst. Pathological tumors are divided into neoplastic and non-neoplastic tumors. Non-neoplastic diseases include endometriosis, polycystic ovary, etc.

2. Ovarian inflammation

The ovaries are enlarged or the surface is edematous, ischemic or adherent, and the surface is covered with membrane-like substances; the ovaries may form adhesions with the fallopian tubes, the side walls of the pelvis, and the posterior wall of the uterus, or the ovaries and fallopian tubes may be seen adhered and wrapped together; if there is an ovarian abscess, pus can be seen on the surface of the ovaries, and the ovaries are obviously enlarged. Ovarian cysts are one of the symptoms of ovarian tumors, which can cause female infertility, mainly due to interference with ovulation function. The ovaries are the place where eggs develop, mature, and are released, and the follicles at different stages are in the ovarian cortex. If the ovaries are damaged, the development, maturation, and release of the eggs will be impaired, which will lead to infertility.

2. How do women maintain their ovaries?

1. Take more iron during menstruation

If you don't have PMS, you don't need to take care of your menstruation? Wrong! During menstruation, menstrual blood will take away a large amount of iron from the body, and iron can provide sufficient nutrients for the eggs. Therefore, eating more high-iron foods such as spinach and animal offal during menstruation can make the eggs healthier.

2. Take less painkillers

A survey covering more than 4,000 European women showed that between the ages of 25 and 35, each person took an average of 77 painkillers per year, which would reduce the activity of eggs in the body by 7% compared to those who did not take painkillers. Experts say that painkillers inhibit brain nerves, and long-term use will "confuse" the nerve center, slowing down the commands sent to the ovaries and weakening the activity of eggs.

5. The farther away from computer radiation, the better

Studies have shown that computer radiation can affect egg quality, but it is impossible to completely avoid computer radiation. Most people think that replacing the screen with an LCD screen can keep them away from computer radiation. In fact, the biggest radiation source is not the display screen but the power supply. American health experts say that the radiation from laptops is much smaller than that from desktop computers. The best way to avoid computer radiation to the greatest extent is to charge the laptop, unplug the power source, and work with the battery.

6. Be careful when maintaining your ovaries

The "ovarian care" popular in beauty salons is unreliable! Japan's National Health Organization conducted a random inspection of more than 400 beauty salons in Asia and found that the essential oils used for ovarian care were of varying quality, with less than 20% of them being qualified. If it is not a very reliable and trustworthy beauty salon, do not go for "ovarian care" casually! After the essential oil on the beautician's hands penetrates into the body, it will affect the endocrine level and even reduce the activity of eggs.
