What disease is there in women's urethral discharge?

Most women who sit in the office for a long time will develop urethritis infection. Many people have urethral abscesses. This is not a gynecological disease. It is caused by urethral infection, sticky or purulent secretions. The patient's symptoms will change and cause urethral tenderness, urethra hardening, and a burning sensation when going to the toilet. So what is the disease that causes pus discharge from the female urethra!

Purulence is the most common urethritis. Clinical examination during the acute phase of urethritis may reveal redness and swelling of the urethral orifice, mucous or purulent secretions, and urethral tenderness and hardening.

Urethritis can be divided into two types: specific and nonspecific. Specific urethritis, including gonococcal urethritis and non-gonococcal urethritis. Other types of specific urethritis include urethritis caused by tuberculosis, Trichomonas, fungi, viruses, etc.; non-specific urethritis is infection caused by Staphylococcus aureus or Escherichia coli. This type of urethritis occurs without sexual contact.

The three-cup urine test can usually be used to detect:

The three-cup urine test shows that: the first cup is turbid and contains a large number of pus cells and white blood cells; the second and third cups are clear. In case of posterior urethritis, the first and third cups are cloudy; the second cup is clear. Men/patients with no urethral discharge should perform the three-cup test. The first cup of urine from anterior urethritis is turbid with a large number of pus cells and white blood cells, while the second and third cups are clear. In posterior urethritis, the first and third cups are turbid, with a large number of pus cells and white blood cells, while the second cup is clear.

Avoid using instruments when examining acute urethritis. Chronic urethritis requires urethrocystoscopy to clarify the cause of the disease. Sometimes a metal urethral bougie can be used to test for stenosis in the urethra, and urethrography can be performed if necessary.

In addition, a small number of patients with urethral pus discharge suffer from symptoms caused by sexually transmitted diseases or infections. Pus discharge from the urethra may also be caused by gonorrhea. If you have unclean sexual behavior and have sexual contact with a gonorrhea patient, a large amount of purulent secretions will appear in the urethra 2 to 10 days later. The secretions are dark yellow and sticky, and often form pus scabs on the underwear.

There are symptoms of urethritis. As the disease progresses, symptoms such as frequent urination, urgency, and pain when urinating may appear.

At present, for women with urethral discharge, the first thing to do is to do a thorough examination to see whether it is caused by urinary tract infection or uterine gynecological disease. You should also pay attention to whether there is frequent urination, urgency and pain, and whether the underwear is clean. You should make the judgment based on the secretions.
