Urinary incontinence is a common disease in daily life, which manifests as always wanting to urinate but not being able to urinate completely. Usually when we hear the term "urinary incontinence", it is mostly related to men, and it is rare to hear that women also have this disease. We usually don't pay much attention to it. But recently, I often hear more and more female friends talk about this disease, which makes everyone very troubled. It is often accompanied by symptoms of depression and bad mood. Now I have a better understanding of urinary incontinence. So, why do female friends also have symptoms of inability to urinate? Let’s take a look at the reasons. Inflammatory stimulation: Acute cystitis, tuberculous cystitis, urethritis, pyelonephritis, vulvitis, etc. can all cause frequent urination and incomplete urination. When there is inflammation in the bladder, the nerve perception threshold is lowered and the urination center is in an excited state, resulting in incomplete urination and reduced urine volume (<300-500 ml/time in adults). Therefore, inability to urinate completely is an important symptom of cystitis, especially in acute cystitis and tuberculous cystitis. Other conditions, such as prostatitis, urethritis, pyelonephritis, chronic balanoposthitis in children, vulvitis, etc., may also cause urinary incontinence. Under the stimulation of inflammation, incomplete urination, urgency and pain in urination often occur at the same time, which is called urinary tract irritation syndrome, commonly known as the "tri-uria syndrome". Neurological: Incomplete urination only occurs during the day or before going to sleep at night, and is often caused by mental tension or seen in hysterical patients. This may also be accompanied by urinary urgency and pain. Non-inflammatory irritation: such as urinary stones, foreign bodies, etc. Increased urine volume: Under physiological conditions, such as drinking a lot of water, the urine volume will increase due to the increase in water intake, and the frequency of urination will also increase, resulting in frequent urination and incomplete urination. Reduced bladder capacity: such as bladder space-occupying lesions, tuberculous bladder contracture or large bladder stones. From the above summary of reasons, it can be seen that a big reason why female friends have symptoms of incomplete urination is probably because they are sick. Therefore, when patients encounter this situation, they must go to the hospital for formal examination in time. Do not take medicine casually, and do not ignore this symptom and let it develop. At the same time, we should pay more attention to the issue of hygiene in our daily life and prevent the occurrence of incontinence by paying little attention to it. |
