Pregnant women should go to the hospital for color ultrasound examination at around 39 weeks to see if the fetus is normal. Through color ultrasound examination, certain parameters can reflect the health of the fetus. This examination is very important and should be carried out in time. Through relevant examinations such as AFT, GP, etc., it can be determined whether the fetus is growing and developing well. Let’s learn in detail what indexes are included in the color Doppler ultrasound of the fetus at 39 weeks of pregnancy. Fetal heart rate: present and strong is normal, absent and weak is abnormal. The normal fetal heart rate is between 120-160 beats per minute. Fetal movement: If it is present and strong, it is normal. If it is absent and weak, it may mean that the fetus is sleeping. It may also be an abnormal situation and needs to be analyzed comprehensively in combination with other items. Regular fetal movement is the most important thing, that is, the duration and intensity of the movement are basically the same every day. Spine - If the fetal spine is continuous, it is normal; if it is defective, it is abnormal. The spine may be deformed. Umbilical cord - Under normal circumstances, the umbilical cord should float in the amniotic fluid. If the umbilical cord image is seen on the fetal neck, the umbilical cord may be wrapped around the neck. GP - Placenta grading. Generally, the placenta is divided into grades 0, I, II, III, and sometimes grade III+. The normal thickness of the placenta should be between 2.5 and 5 cm. The calcification report is usually divided into grade III. Grade I is the early stage of placental maturity, with uniform echoes. This change can be seen at 30-32 weeks of pregnancy. Grade II indicates that the placenta is close to maturity; Grade III indicates that the placenta is mature. The closer to full term, the more mature the placenta is and the more uneven the echo is. The position describes the location of the placenta in the uterine wall; AFI - Amniotic fluid index. When doing B-ultrasound, the pregnant woman's navel is taken as the center and divided into 4 areas: upper, lower, left and right. The amniotic fluid depths of the 4 areas are added together to get the amniotic fluid index. The normal depth of amniotic fluid is between 3-7 cm. More than 7 cm indicates increased amniotic fluid, and less than 3 cm indicates decreased amniotic fluid. S/D - the ratio of fetal umbilical artery systolic pressure to diastolic pressure, which is related to fetal blood supply. This ratio will be abnormal when the placenta functions poorly or the umbilical cord is abnormal. In normal pregnancy, as the gestational age increases, the fetal needs increase, S decreases, D increases, and the ratio decreases. When the pregnancy is close to full-term, S/D is less than 3. For pregnant women, giving birth to a healthy and lively baby is the biggest wish. Therefore, in addition to conducting corresponding examinations, conditioning in life is also inseparable. Pay attention to maintaining moderate exercise, emphasizing nutrition in diet, eating more nutritious food, maintaining an optimistic and relaxed attitude, etc. |
