Breast pain during breastfeeding is a problem encountered by many mothers. In fact, there is a very simple truth. Sucking hard on any part of the human body will cause pain, not to mention the delicate and soft female breasts. Furthermore, women's skin and muscles are inherently softer and more sensitive, especially in some sensitive areas. Take women's breasts for example. The strong sucking of the baby during breastfeeding will naturally cause pain. However, if a woman still has breast pain when not breastfeeding, she needs to go to the hospital for examination. Generally speaking, if there is sudden, persistent, severe pain in the breast accompanied by obvious tenderness, it is considered to be various acute infectious diseases of the breast; if there is local pulsating pain, it may be local suppuration. If breast pain is paroxysmal, and often begins before menstruation or worsens before menstruation, and is relieved or disappears after menstruation, and the pain is distending or stabbing, and sometimes involves the armpit or shoulder and back on the same side, and there is mild to moderate tenderness locally, then it is considered to be a proliferative lesion. If the nipple is severely painful during breastfeeding, or the nipple is broken or cracked, it may be caused by the baby sucking and biting the nipple, resulting in nipple fissures. If the breast pain is only mild, dull or aching, with no obvious regularity, and is only occasional or paroxysmal, and sometimes continuous, it is often ignored because the pain is not obvious. It should be noted that such breast pain may also be a signal of early breast malignant disease, and should be given sufficient attention. Sometimes, there is no obvious pain in the breast, but only pain in one armpit or shoulder and back. There is also the possibility of malignant lesions. These subtle changes should not be easily ignored. If there is severe, persistent, burning pain in the breast, which is progressively aggravated and difficult to relieve on its own, and accompanied by local ulceration and necrosis of the mass or ulceration of the surgical wound and surrounding skin, it is breast pain in the late stage of malignant lesions. At this time, because the symptoms and signs of other malignant lesions are very clear, it is not difficult to find the cause of the pain. In addition, some women also experience breast pain when their breasts swell. This is a physiological condition and should be distinguished from breast pain caused by disease. From the above, we can learn about several common reasons why women should deal with breast pain during breastfeeding. The most common ones are skin sensitivity, the baby sucking too hard and for too long, and gynecological diseases. If it is the first two, then there is no need to worry too much, because it will be relieved after the breastfeeding period. However, if the breast pain is caused by gynecological diseases, then treatment is required and do not take it lightly. |
