What to do if you are obese and infertile

Obesity infertility is a disease that means a person is overweight and has infertility. Women who become infertile due to obesity are mostly between 20 and 35 years old. This is because obesity can easily lead to polycystic ovary syndrome in women of this age group. At this time, they are not only obese, but also hairy and prone to skin problems such as acne. Obesity infertility requires active treatment. Here we will introduce the solution to obesity infertility.

Infertility caused by obesity is generally due to hormonal disorders, such as endocrine disorders, polycystic ovary, etc. You should first get checked to determine the cause of your infertility, and then treat it accordingly. If it is an endocrine disorder, you can take medication. If it is polycystic ovary, there are medication and surgical treatments. For infertility caused by morbid obesity, the primary disease must be treated. While treating the primary disease, active and planned weight loss measures must be taken to try to control weight, which may increase the chances of conception.

For simple obesity-related infertility, weight loss should be considered first during treatment. The main measures to lose weight are to control diet and increase physical exercise. When losing weight, it is necessary to supplement with Chinese medicine treatments to regulate menstruation and promote ovulation. Treatment with human chorionic gonadotropin is also possible. For pathological obesity-related infertility, treatment must be targeted at the primary disease. While treating the primary disease, take active weight loss measures to control your weight. Only in this way can you increase the chances of conception.

Once obesity and infertility occur, you should have regular physical examinations, such as measuring your basal body temperature every day, performing continuous B-ultrasound monitoring, or checking your cervical mucus, or directly undergoing a laparoscopy. These examination methods can help us understand the real cause of obesity, thus providing a reliable basis for subsequent treatment.
