Pregnant female workers are entitled to 98 days of maternity leave, including 15 days of leave before delivery; if the pregnant woman has a difficult delivery, the maternity leave is extended by 15 days; if the pregnant woman is pregnant with twins, the maternity leave is extended by 15 days for each additional baby. If a female worker has a miscarriage before the fourth month of pregnancy, she is entitled to 15 days of maternity leave; if she has a miscarriage after the fourth month of pregnancy, she is entitled to 42 days of maternity leave.

For Chinese citizens who have undergone family planning surgery and have one of the following conditions and need to rest with the doctor's consent, their summer vacation will be treated as sick leave:

(1) After the first abortion or after another abortion due to unsuccessful placement of an IUD, sterilization, or subcutaneous implant, the required summer vacation has been completed.

(2) Re-abortion without sterilization, IUD placement or subcutaneous implant.

(3) Complications from sterilization surgery occur.
