What to do if you have vaginal itching

The vulva is a particularly important part that protects the female vagina and uterus from the entry of bacteria. If a woman's vulva becomes itchy, it is likely caused by vulvar folliculitis, which has a lot to do with a woman's daily private life and private hygiene. Therefore, it is recommended that women should wash their vulva before and after each sexual intercourse. So what should you do if your vulva is itchy?

1. Unhygienic sexual life: Women who have frequent sexual life, do not pay attention to cleanliness before and after sexual life, and have sexual intercourse during menstruation are prone to vaginitis and cervical diseases, and even cervical cancer.

2. Improper cleaning of the vagina: Using alkaline soaps, sanitary napkins, synthetic underwear and other items will irritate the vulva and cause itching symptoms. Excessive use of potassium permanganate solution for sitz baths can easily lead to vaginitis.

3. Abuse of antibiotics: Antibiotics are very effective in killing pathogenic bacteria, but abuse will increase the drug resistance of pathogenic bacteria and even kill beneficial bacteria, aggravating inflammation. Vaginitis may not be eradicated due to women's abuse of antibiotics.

4. Infection: After an unexpected pregnancy or abortion or childbirth, the body's resistance decreases and it is easy for bacteria to breed. At this time, when the cervix is not closed, it is easier for bacteria to invade. It is not uncommon to suffer from gynecological inflammation, the most common ones are vaginitis, adnexitis, etc.
