How to calculate ovulation period

Have you ever used the method of calculating the ovulation period for girls? How to calculate a girl’s ovulation period? What is the function? This requires the editor to explain to you how to calculate the ovulation period of girls.

Generally speaking, a woman's ovulation period is 10 days. A woman will ovulate once in every menstrual cycle (usually one month). The day of ovulation is called the "ovulation period". The 5 days before ovulation, the 4 days after ovulation, plus the day of ovulation are the woman's ovulation period. Therefore, girls' ovulation period is 10 days.

However, as the pace of modern life continues to accelerate, women are increasingly affected by the physical environment. When a woman with a relatively regular rhythm of life suddenly changes her rhythm of life, her menstrual period may be advanced or delayed, and the length of the ovulation period will fluctuate with the change of the menstrual period. Therefore, the ovulation period of 10 days is an approximate term, and in fact, the ovulation period of girls is generally less than 10 days. Since the ovulation period is not necessarily a fixed ten days, then how long is the effective pregnancy time during the ovulation period?

Generally speaking, the survival time of a normal woman's egg cell is about 2 days, 3 days at most, and less than 12 hours at least. A man's sperm can usually survive in a woman's body for 3 to 5 days, usually 4 days. The effective pregnancy time during the ovulation period is generally 5 days before the girl's ovulation, because the male sperm can survive in the woman's body for up to 5 days, and 2 days after the girl's ovulation, because after the egg is released, it can only survive in the woman's body for 2 days. In other words, the effective pregnancy time is generally about 7 days.

If the menstrual cycle is regular, a woman's ovulation period is usually about 14 days before the next menarche. The 5 days before and 4 days after ovulation, a total of 10 days within the ovulation period, are called the ovulation period.

If your menstrual cycle is unstable, you need to change the calculation method: the first day of ovulation = the number of days in the shortest menstrual cycle minus 18 days, the last day of ovulation = the number of days in the longest menstrual cycle minus 11 days. The calculation method is to use the first day of menarche as the reference point and count the days backwards.
