Swimming is the skill of floating on the water by oneself and moving forward in the water by using the movements of one's limbs and torso. Swimming can be divided into competitive swimming and practical swimming. Competitive swimming is the second largest event in the Olympic Games. It includes four swimming styles: butterfly stroke, backstroke (also known as backstroke), breaststroke and freestyle (also known as crawl/freestyle), as well as synchronized swimming.

Swimming plays a very important role in improving the cardiovascular system. The stimulation of cold water can promote blood circulation through heat regulation and metabolism; in addition, the pressure and resistance of water during swimming also play a special role in the heart and blood circulation. When swimming on the water surface, the water pressure on the body reaches 0.02-0.05kg per square centimeter.

When diving, as the depth increases and the physical conditions change, the pressure will increase. The faster swimming speed will also increase the pressure load. The muscle tissue of the atria and ventricles can be strengthened, the capacity of the heart cavity can gradually increase, and the number of heart beats can be reduced. In this way, the activity of the heart can be economical, and the entire blood circulation system can be improved.

Therefore, if women want to swim in daily life, they must do warm-up exercises in advance, and they must do the warm-up exercises carefully and not be careless. Otherwise, it is very likely to cause cramps in their hands and feet while swimming. Such a situation can easily endanger a person's life and is not good for a person's health.
