The color of lochia usually changes from bloody lochia to serous lochia and finally to white lochia.

Lochia usually refers to some secretions that appear in the vagina after giving birth. It is mainly a mixture of necrotic decidua and blood in the uterus, which will be slowly discharged from the body as the uterus contracts. The amount of lochia is usually around 250 ml to 500 ml.

At the beginning, it is bloody lochia, which contains a lot of blood. The color is bright red and the amount is relatively large. Occasionally there will be some bleeding. It usually lasts for about three days, and then the amount of bleeding will slowly decrease, and then it will become serous lochia. Serous lochia contains a large amount of serous fluid, and the color is not particularly bright red, but light red. It usually lasts for about 7 to 10 days. After that, the serous fluid will gradually decrease, and the number of white blood cells will slowly increase, turning into white lochia. White goose meat contains a large number of white blood cells, and its color looks relatively white. White lochia will last for about two to three weeks.

During the process of eliminating lochia, personal hygiene care measures need to be taken. Strenuous exercise should not be performed for a short period of time, and sexual intercourse should not be performed to avoid gynecological inflammatory diseases.
