What to do if the vulva is itchy and has a burning sensation

Gynecological problems are probably what women are most concerned about, and genital diseases account for a large proportion of gynecological diseases. Because the vulva is in contact and friction with clothing, it is easy to be infected by fungi or bacteria, resulting in gynecological problems such as vulvar itching. Vulvar itching is sometimes accompanied by redness, swelling, and burning pain of the vulva, which greatly troubles female friends. Today I will tell you what to do if you have itching and burning sensation in the vulva?

There are many different types of vaginal acne, and different types require different treatments. Therefore, if you find vulvar itching, you should go to the hospital for examination in time, and then conduct targeted examinations after the diagnosis is confirmed. Vaginitis can be classified into:

1) Candidal vaginitis: vulvar itching, vulvar and vaginal burning pain, increased leucorrhea with a tofu-dreg-like appearance, sometimes accompanied by frequent urination, painful urination, and painful sexual intercourse.

2) Trichomonas vaginitis: The amount of leucorrhea increases and is milky white or yellow, sometimes purulent, foamy and smelly. In severe cases, there is bloody leucorrhea, dysuria, frequent urination and hematuria.

3) Bacterial vaginosis: increased leucorrhea, which is grayish white, thin, and foamy. The vaginal mucosa is congested, with scattered bleeding spots, itchy and burning sensation in the vulva, and a foul odor in the vulva.

4) Senile vaginitis: increased leucorrhea, yellow and watery, purulent and smelly in severe cases, itching, dryness and pain in the vulva, distension in the lower abdomen, and when the urethra is affected, there are frequent, urgent and painful urination.

5) Nonspecific vaginitis: There is a feeling of falling and burning in the vagina, accompanied by pelvic discomfort and general fatigue. Vaginal discharge increases and becomes purulent, serous, and foul-smelling.

The above is the editor’s introduction on what to do if you have vulvar itching and burning sensation. I hope that most girlfriends can understand it. If you do not pay attention to these symptoms and develop such diseases, you should go to the hospital in time for relevant examinations and treatment. Do not be shy about seeing a doctor, be ashamed to speak, or delay treatment.
