What is the cause of yellow jelly-like vaginal discharge?

Most girls have some physical health problems. Sometimes it is menstrual irregularities, sometimes it is endocrine disorders and some other symptoms. These may seem like some common minor problems, but in fact they can cause great harm to women’s bodies! In fact, sometimes many people don’t understand and think it is a normal phenomenon. Today I will briefly talk to you about the reason why leucorrhea is yellow and gelatinous to popularize knowledge.

Yellow leucorrhea is a type of pathological leucorrhea. The following five types of pathological leucorrhea are common:

Colorless paste-like leucorrhea - the leucorrhea is sticky like paste, with a large amount, and often stains the underwear. It is more common in chronic cervicitis. In addition, women who use more estrogen preparations may also experience this kind of leucorrhea.

Bean-dreg-like leucorrhea - the leucorrhea is large in amount, shaped like bean dregs and floc-like, and is accompanied by extreme vaginal itching. This type of leucorrhea is mostly caused by vaginal fungal infection or diabetes.

Foamy leucorrhea - the leucorrhea is foamy and large in amount, accompanied by vulvar and vaginal itching. If a vaginal leucorrhea smear test is done, active Trichomonas may be detected. This disease is often caused by itching and scratching of the vaginal opening, which leads to purulent infection and the leucorrhea turns into yellow pus and foam.

Purulent leucorrhea - leucorrhea is yellow or green and pus-like, often accompanied by symptoms such as general weakness and low fever. It is likely to be acute vaginitis or cervicitis. Purulence indicates bacterial infection and you should seek medical attention immediately.

Watery leucorrhea - Leucorrhea that is clear like water, often soaks the underwear, and has a foul odor is often a sign of fallopian tube tumors.

After the above introduction, do you have a general understanding of abnormal leucorrhea in women? You should also understand the reason why women’s leucorrhea is yellow and gelatinous! After reading so much, I think everyone will have a lot of thoughts in their mind: girls actually have so many problems, it’s really not easy for girls! So you must take good care of the girls around you, and girls must also take good care of themselves and understand that they have a healthy body.
