What is multicystic nodules of the breast?

There are many types of breast health diseases, and breast nodules are usually the most common. This disease is also divided into many different types. For example, breast hyperplasia nodules or breast cystic nodules cannot be ignored. Especially after the appearance of multiple cystic nodules, it is necessary to clarify the specific condition and characteristics of the disease. So what is the multiple cystic nodules of the breast?

Breast hyperplasia is lobular hyperplasia, which is clinically seen as cystic breast adenosis, chronic mastopathy, and chronic cystic breast. Adenitis, breast dysplasia, and breast cystic hyperplasia are all breast hyperplasia diseases. It is a common benign lesion of the breast. It is more common in middle-aged women, and most lobular hyperplasia is related to endocrine imbalance in the body. It is not inflammation, nor is it a tumor, but a physiological response of the body to endocrine imbalance and a disorder of the normal structure of the breast.

Some patients experience breast tenderness, tingling or dull pain, which is related to the menstrual cycle. Flaky, granular or nodular lumps can be felt, which are tough in texture. Breast B-ultrasound or X-ray can be used for differential diagnosis. It is the most common breast disease in women, and its incidence ranks first among breast diseases. In recent years, the incidence of this disease has been increasing year by year, and the age of patients has been getting younger and younger. According to surveys, about 70% to 80% of women have varying degrees of breast hyperplasia, which is more common in women aged 25-45.

Multiple breast nodules are diagnosed by color ultrasound. The color ultrasound terminology is "hypoechoic" or "reduced echoic"; it generally refers to hyperplastic nodules, fibroadenomas, precancerous lesions, and malignant tumors; among them, the incidence of hyperplastic nodules accounts for more than 85%. Multiple breast nodules are most common in long-term uncured hyperplasia, severe hyperplasia or atypical hyperplasia, some of which have precancerous lesions.

Because many multiple nodules are formed by long-term adverse proliferation, most patients do not need surgery; if the proliferation cannot be effectively reduced or controlled, direct surgery will result in an almost 100% recurrence rate.

Through the above introduction, everyone has a clear idea of what multiple cystic nodules of the breast are. Protecting breast health is an issue that every female friend needs to take seriously, so as not to bring trouble to their lives or suffer too much psychological trauma and harm. Timely and correct treatment is crucial.
