Why do women urinate frequently at night?

Nowadays, some women get up to go to the toilet at night and the frequency is quite frequent, but most women do not take it seriously. They simply think that it may be because they drink too much water. In fact, there are such factors that cause such phenomenon, but it may also be because of kidney disease in women that causes women to have increased nocturia. At this time, women should pay more attention.

As the pace of life quickens, more and more people find that their sleep quality is getting worse. Among them, many people have the difficult problem of nocturia. Nocturia refers to an increase in the frequency and volume of urination at night. Normally, people urinate 1-2 times at night, and the average total amount of nocturnal urine is 500ml, which is about one-third of a normal person's daily urination. What causes frequent urination at night?

Causes of nocturia:

Physiological - drinking a lot of water before going to bed, accustomed to drinking strong tea, coffee or taking diuretics.

Neurotic - High mental tension makes it difficult to fall asleep, and the patient will get up at night if he feels the urge to urinate.

Heart failure or endocrine disease - chronic adrenal insufficiency.

Kidney disease - glomerular disease, chronic tubulointerstitial disease, etc., the first symptom is increased nocturia, which then develops into renal polyuria. Hypertension and diabetes can also cause increased nocturia due to reduced kidney concentrating function.

Therefore, women must be careful not to drink too much water when sleeping at night. At the same time, they must pay attention to their mental state and not be too nervous. Relax their mood. If they find that they have frequent nocturia, they must go to the hospital for timely examination, so that they can control the disease in time and keep it within the curable range.
