Women's sex life is originally a perfect thing. Many women will face sex life when they enter marriage. However, if vaginal itching occurs after sex, many women will constantly suspect that they have gynecological diseases. We all know that women's gynecological diseases occur frequently. If they are serious, there will be a lot of discomfort in the genitals. So what is the reason for vaginal itching after sex? Itching of the genitals after sexual intercourse can make people feel upset, and in severe cases, they may even develop a fear of sexual intercourse. The reasons are roughly as follows. One is an allergy to condoms (or external contraceptives): condoms are a chemical product, and a small number of people have an allergic reaction to them. Women experience itching in the vulva, congestion and erosion of the vaginal opening and vaginal walls, and a significant increase in secretions from the vulva and vagina. Men experience unbearable itching on the glans penis, leading to local tingling, and even congestion, edema and erosion of the glans penis. In addition, some drugs (external contraceptive jelly, external contraceptive film, etc.) can also cause allergic reactions. The second is semen allergy: male semen itself is an allergic substance. If the wife has an overly sensitive constitution, an allergic reaction is likely to occur. The main symptoms are itching of the vulva, sometimes with mild congestion and edema. A small number of people may experience chest tightness, palpitations, or systemic "wheals". The third is leucorrhea allergy: leucorrhea is composed of cervical fluid mixed with some endometrial and fallopian tube exfoliated cells and vaginal secretions. During sexual intercourse, cervical fluid and vaginal secretions increase, and the amount of leucorrhea also increases. There are many antigenic substances in leucorrhea that can become allergens. If the husband has an allergic constitution, it will also cause an allergic reaction. The main symptoms are itching and discomfort in the glans penis, penis body or scrotum area. Vulvar swelling or the appearance of "wheals" are rare. Fourth, secretions contaminate the vulva and cause sexual stimulation: During sexual intercourse, secretions from the sexual organs (leucorrhea, semen, menstrual blood, smegma, etc.) are contaminated on the vulva, then dry and adhere to the local skin and mucous membranes, causing itching and discomfort. Fifth, vaginal infection: vaginitis caused by Trichomonas or fungi can also irritate the vulva and cause itching. Preventive measures: If one of the couple has allergies and is prone to "urticaria", they should receive anti-allergic treatment and, if necessary, take anti-allergic drugs such as promethazine, vitamin C or diphenhydramine before and after sexual intercourse, or wear a condom during sexual intercourse to prevent contact with secretions and reduce allergic reactions. If it is determined that the allergy is caused by condoms or external contraceptives, other contraceptive methods should be used instead. If the sexual stimulation is caused by secretions, the organs should be cleaned in time after intercourse, or the wife should squat for a while to allow the semen to flow out of the vagina, which can reduce the chance of itching. If there is a Trichomonas or fungal infection in the vagina, it must be treated and sterilized. Vulvar itching is a symptom caused by many reasons. It is mostly caused by the large amount of abnormal leucorrhea discharged from vulvar inflammation caused by trichomonas or fungal infection, which irritates the vulva. If disinfectant solution is used to wash the vulva and vagina, or certain drugs are placed in the vagina (such as sulfonamides, furazolidone, strong alkaline soap, potassium permanganate solution, etc.), causing vulvar skin allergy or dermatitis, it can also cause vulvar itching. Failure to pay attention to hygiene during menstruation and failure to wash the vulva frequently, resulting in menstrual blood or vaginal secretions accumulating in the vulva for a long time; or wearing synthetic underwear at ordinary times, which often puts the vulva in a hot and humid environment, often causes vulvar itching. The above reasons are the various reasons we introduced for vaginal itching symptoms after intercourse. We must check these reasons and take timely measures to prevent vaginal itching, but do not use medication indiscriminately. It must be symptomatic. If you have not checked out what is going on before, but the itching is uncomfortable, then you can take some preventive measures in life to treat it. |
