Can a girl with severe cervical erosion have an abortion?

Can girls with severe cervical erosion have an abortion? Many girls have this question: Can girls with severe cervical erosion have an abortion? The advice is that it is best not to do so. Because if it goes on for a long time, it will cause great harm to you and your body. Many girls do not pay attention to this problem and end up becoming unable to get pregnant, which is a huge harm to the body. Many girls have no experience and are always conflicted about this kind of problem. Go to the hospital and ask a professional doctor, who will give you a cure. Never act on your own. So that you won’t regret it later.

It is possible to do abortion and cervical erosion together.

Cervical erosion is the most common pathological change of chronic pelvic inflammatory disease. The cervical vaginal part at the external os of the cervix appears as a fine granular red area, which is called cervical erosion. The erosion surface is covered by a complete single layer of columnar epithelium of the cervical canal. Because the columnar epithelium is thin, the underlying stroma is red and not true erosion. True erosion pathology refers to epithelial exfoliation ulcer.

The term cervical erosion has been abandoned in foreign countries and replaced by cervical columnar epithelial displacement, but it is still used in my country.

In some physiological conditions, such as adolescence, pregnancy, or women taking oral contraceptives, due to increased estrogen levels, the columnar epithelium of the cervical canal proliferates, and the original squamous-columnar junction moves outward. The external os of the cervix is red and eroded. This is physiological erosion, which returns to normal after the estrogen level drops. Cervical erosion is divided into 3 types according to the depth of the erosion. In the early stage of inflammation, the erosion surface is only covered by a single layer of columnar epithelium, which is called simple erosion. Due to excessive proliferation of the glandular epithelium and accompanied by stromal hyperplasia, the erosion surface is uneven and granular, showing granular erosion. When the stromal hyperplasia is significant, the erosion surface is papillary, which is called papillary erosion. According to the size of the erosion area, it is divided into 3 degrees. If the erosion area is less than one-third of the entire cervical area, it is mild; if it is between one-third and two-thirds, it is 2 degrees; and if it is larger than two-thirds, it is 3 degrees. The treatment is mainly physical therapy. Commonly used clinical methods are laser, freezing, infrared coagulation and microwave. It takes 3-4 weeks for the wound to heal, and 6-8 weeks for deeper erosion. Before treatment, a routine cervical scraping and cytology examination should be performed. Physical therapy is contraindicated in acute cervicitis. The treatment time should be within 3-7 days after the menstruation is over. Sexual intercourse, vaginal douching and tub bathing are prohibited before the wound heals. Regular follow-up examinations should be conducted after treatment to pay attention to whether there is cervical stenosis. It can be applied topically when the area of inflammation is small and the infiltration is shallow. Local application of Chinese medicine has a good effect.

Many girls will avoid it and choose to run away from it, but you must understand that it may be difficult to get pregnant once you have an abortion. So the best way is not to have an abortion. Can abortion be performed if cervical erosion is severe? The best answer to this question is to go to the hospital and get different answers based on your personal constitution.
