How can gynecological disease cervical erosion be cured?

I believe that female friends are more or less aware of the harmful effects of cervical erosion, so generally after diagnosis, they will think about seeking treatment as soon as possible. It’s just that many patients know little about the disease, which leads to a certain degree of blindness in treatment. So next the editor will focus on explaining the specific treatments for cervical erosion, hoping to bring some substantial help to patients.

1. Drug treatment. It has small side effects and is more suitable for women who have not given birth. The most common drugs for treating cervical erosion are Shadier Gel, Huijian Combination, and external medicine Xiaomi Suppositories, which are more effective but relatively expensive. Use a cotton swab to carefully apply 10-30% silver nitrate solution or 10% iodine to the affected area. After using silver nitrate, apply normal saline to convert excess silver nitrate into non-corrosive silver chloride. Take twice a week, 4 to 6 times as a course of treatment, and repeat if necessary.

2. Physical therapy. Suitable for patients with moderate and severe cervical erosion. Commonly used methods include electric ironing, laser therapy, and cryotherapy. The disadvantage is that the side effects are large and may cause the nerve sensitivity of the vaginal wall to decrease, affecting the quality of sexual life. In addition, it is easy to relapse after being cured.

3. Treatment with traditional Chinese medicine. Chinese medicine prescription: 9 grams of May frost, 6 grams of wheat bran grass, 5 grams of astragalus, and appropriate amount of sheep tannins. It can be taken as a decoction and can also be used for trichomoniasis vaginitis. Or you can use 10 grams of Yunnan Baiyao. Use glycerin to make an ointment, apply the ointment on a cotton ball with a string, insert it into the vagina, close to the cervical erosion. After 12 hours, pull the string to remove the cotton ball (the vagina should be rinsed clean before applying the medicine). Apply the medicine once every 3 days, and 5 times is a course of treatment. Avoid sexual intercourse during medication.

At present, the treatment methods for gynecological cervical erosion in clinical practice are generally the above-mentioned ones. From the article, we can see that each treatment has special therapeutic effects. Of course, there are also some disadvantages. This requires patients to consider carefully when choosing, and combine with the advice of professional doctors to achieve the purpose of targeted treatment as much as possible.
