Most women who suffer from sleepiness during menstruation caused by spleen deficiency and dampness are obese, often accompanied by edema, shortness of breath when moving, poor appetite, fullness and stuffiness in the stomach, and a large amount of sticky and thick leucorrhea. During menstruation, one feels mentally exhausted, the head feels heavy, the limbs feel heaviness, and one feels drowsy and sleepy. The tongue coating is white and greasy, and the pulse is soft and slow. Women who feel sleepy during menstruation should pay attention to strengthening physical exercise, such as jogging, playing ball, practicing Tai Chi, etc. Choose a form of exercise they like and stick to it for a long time. In terms of diet, eat less sweet and high-fat foods. You can eat more watermelon in summer and more sweet radish in winter. You can also cook porridge with red beans and coix seeds. Generally speaking, as long as you take good care of yourself, develop good living habits, and exercise appropriately, and take some medication when necessary, you can effectively solve the symptoms of sleepiness. For symptoms like dysmenorrhea, you should be careful not to eat spicy foods and keep warm. Warming the uterus is an effective way to relieve dysmenorrhea. |
