Emergency treatment for itching during menstruation

Emergency treatment for itching during menstruation

Due to their special physiological structure, women are very susceptible to various gynecological diseases, especially during menstruation, when their immunity is greatly reduced and a large amount of blood loss also makes women's bodies very weak, making it very difficult to resist the invasion of some diseases. For example, when women are menstruating, they often feel itchy in the vulva, which brings great trouble to women's normal life. So, what should we do if it itches during menstruation? Is there any way to deal with it?

To ensure that the vulva does not itch, women are advised to use personal items with caution because they come into direct contact with the vulva. If it gets dirty, won't it be easy for the vulva to be contaminated by external dirt soon? In this way, the vulva surrounded by dirt will naturally breed bacteria easily. Among them, the editor reminds that the following personal items must be used with caution:

1. Sanitary napkins

This is something most women need to use every month, every time they have their period, to prevent menstrual blood from directly staining their panties and eventually seeping out of their pants or skirts. You need to put a sanitary napkin in the crotch of your underwear. When menstrual blood is discharged from the vulva, it will be directly absorbed by the sanitary napkin, thus solving the embarrassment of leakage.

In this way, the sanitary napkin needs to come into direct contact with the vulva. Therefore, the sanitary napkins you use must be clean and of qualified quality. Please do not use sanitary napkins that are mixed with some unknown substances. And if you find a damaged sanitary napkin before use, you should throw it away immediately. Because you can't guarantee whether the sanitary napkin is contaminated or whether it contains bacteria. If used directly, it is easy for the bacteria in the sanitary napkin to come into contact with the vulva. Soon the bacteria will "take root" on the delicate surface of the vulvar skin, continue to multiply and spread the disease.

In addition, you should change the sanitary napkin every two or three hours, otherwise the sanitary napkin will reach saturation with menstrual blood and will easily overflow. Moreover, menstrual blood contains various impurities. If it comes into contact with the vulva for a long time, it can easily induce bacteria and cause inflammation under sufficient conditions. Therefore, women should be cautious and careful when using sanitary napkins.

2. Shorts

The time that panties are in contact with the vulva is much longer than that of sanitary napkins, because sanitary napkins are only used during the days of menstruation. And panties need to be worn every day. If they are not washed clean and have all kinds of dirt left on them, the dirt will easily adhere to the surface of the vulva. Together with some dirt discharged from the body, all the things will accumulate together and form a huge "dirty thing". If it is left in contact with the surface of the vulva for a long time, bacteria will soon breed, and the bacteria will continue to multiply due to sufficient nutrients, eventually inducing inflammation and causing unbearable itching of the woman's vulva.

Therefore, women should pay attention to hygiene when wearing panties on a daily basis. The shorts you take off must be washed carefully and exposed to the sun to help kill bacteria.

What to do if vulva itching occurs?

1. Change your shorts

Some women are not careful enough when washing their panties, resulting in hanging them out to dry without washing them thoroughly. Even if such shorts are dried, there will inevitably be dirt left on them, which can easily induce inflammation when worn, leading to vulvar itching. Therefore, if you feel itchy soon after putting on your underwear, you might as well change into a clean pair of underwear. If the itching problem is relieved after doing this, it means that the underwear is dirty.

2. Clean the vulva

It's hot in summer, and the surface of the vulva is covered with hair and wrapped in panties. In this case, a lot of sweat accumulates on the vulva, and with the increase in body temperature, bacteria can easily breed. At this time, in order to prevent bacteria from continuing to multiply, women are advised to clean the vulva with light salt water. Doing this will help kill bacteria and wash away dirt on the surface of the vulva, thereby improving the itching problem.
