4. How to distinguish between benign and malignant

Generally speaking, patients with benign ovarian cysts are in good condition, with slower cyst growth and longer course of disease; the surface of the tumor is smooth, with clear boundaries and is movable; there is no ascites, and the patient feels good. But malignant ovarian cysts are different. Patients often feel varying degrees of discomfort, sometimes with fever and rapid weight loss. The tumor grows rapidly, the course of the disease is short, there may be nodules on the surface of the tumor, and it is often accompanied by ascites. If malignant symptoms occur, go to the hospital for treatment as soon as possible.
