How to regulate dysmenorrhea

1: Keep warm: Keeping your body warm will speed up blood circulation and relax your muscles, especially the spasmodic and congested pelvic area. Drink more hot herbal tea or hot lemon juice.

2: Hot compress: Placing pads or hot water bottles above and below the pelvis for a few minutes at a time will speed up blood circulation and relieve dysmenorrhea.

3: Take a mineral bath: Add 1 cup of sea salt and 1 cup of sodium bicarbonate to a tub of warm water. Soaking for 20 minutes can help relax muscles and relieve menstrual cramps.

4: Exercise regularly: Especially before your period, walking or engaging in other moderate exercise will make you more comfortable during your period.

5: Take painkillers: Aspirin, Yuanhu analgesic pills and paracetamol can relieve menstrual cramps. When menstrual cramps begin, take any one of these (1 capsule) with milk. It will not hurt your stomach and will prevent menstrual cramps.

1: 24 grams of ginger, 30 grams of red dates, and 9 grams of pepper. First, boil the motherwort juice and remove the residue, then cook it with rice and brown sugar into a thin porridge. Start taking it 3-5 days before menstruation. Take warm, 1-2 times a day. This porridge can promote blood circulation, remove blood stasis, regulate qi and unblock menstruation. It is suitable for dysmenorrhea caused by qi and blood stasis, irregular menstruation, and postpartum lochia.

3: 9 grams each of rose and Chinese rose, 3 grams of safflower. Grind the above 3 herbs into coarse powder, soak them in boiling water for 10 minutes, take one dose daily, and drink warm at any time. ; Take it for several days in a row, preferably a few days before menstruation. This tea promotes blood circulation, regulates menstruation, regulates qi and relieves pain. It is suitable for dysmenorrhea caused by qi stagnation and blood stasis, scanty menstruation, abdominal distension and pain, amenorrhea, etc.

During menstruation, we must be careful not to use cold water to wash hands and clothes, do not touch cold water, do not eat anything casually, do not eat raw, cold, iced, or spicy food. What women should not do during menstruation is to wash their hair with cold water. Using cold water at this time will cause headaches and other diseases, so you must pay attention to keeping warm.
