Why do blisters grow on the vulva?

The vulva is very important to women's bodies and is the most important part of the reproductive system. The vulva has a very strong function and can block bacteria from invading the vagina and protect the urethra and other reproductive organs. Therefore, it is very necessary to pay attention to the vulva. In recent years, the number of people suffering from gynecological diseases has increased significantly, causing endless pain to women. For example, the phenomenon of blisters on the vulva is extremely rare. So, what is the cause of blisters on the vulva?

Vulvar blisters in women are primary genital herpes. It usually takes 3-5 days from infection to onset. The affected area first has a burning sensation, then erythema appears, followed by multiple groups of red papules on the basis of the erythema, and a feeling of heat and itching. Soon they will turn into small blisters. After a few days, the blisters become purulent and may form erosions after breaking. If vulvar blisters in women are recurrent genital herpes, about 60% of primary patients will generally relapse within a year if they do not go for regular STD treatment but only receive treatment in ordinary outpatient clinics.

After the recurrence of genital herpes, the symptoms are generally mild and not obvious, there is no swollen lymph nodes, and the course of the disease is short. It is easy to spread the infection and endanger the health of others. In short, if genital herpes is not cured for a long time, mild cases can lead to heart disease, meningitis, nervous system damage, and genital malignant tumors; severe cases can develop into vaginal cancer and be life-threatening.

The above is a brief introduction to blisters on the vulva of women. I hope women can understand that this disease has a great impact on women’s bodies, especially on women’s family happiness. Therefore, women should always pay attention to their reproductive system in life to avoid infection with certain diseases.
