In fact, many women know that they should sleep on their side during pregnancy, not lying flat on their backs. After giving birth, they think they can finally sleep as comfortably as they want. In fact, this is wrong. Women in confinement should still lie on their side. If you lie flat, the still overweight uterus will fall backwards, and the ligaments that support the position of the uterus after delivery are mostly weak and have not yet restored their normal tension, making it difficult to pull the heavy uterus to the front position. Over time, the uterus inverts into a posterior position, resulting in a retroverted uterus. Mild posterior uterus is generally asymptomatic, but severe cases can cause pelvic congestion, leading to lower abdominal pain, back pain, etc.
