How should ectopic pregnancy without bleeding be treated?

Ectopic pregnancy is an increasingly common problem that threatens women's health. It is indeed a serious and difficult problem for adult women. The most critical issue is not treatment, but early detection of ectopic pregnancy. Because many early ectopic pregnancies have no obvious symptoms. The patient did not feel any discomfort. So how should ectopic pregnancy without bleeding be treated?

Ectopic pregnancy often occurs in the following groups of people: 1. Repeated abortions; 2. Chronic pelvic inflammatory disease; 3. IUD insertion; 4. History of ectopic pregnancy; 5. In vitro fertilization; 6. Salpingitis; 7. Abnormal fallopian tube development or after fallopian tube surgery; 8. Pelvic endometriosis.

If it is discovered before bleeding, conservative treatment can be adopted: mainly including anti-inflammatory, infusion, bed rest and intake of nutritional elements.

The indications for conservative treatment of ectopic pregnancy are: non-ruptured tubal pregnancy, gestational sac diameter less than 5cm, and no heart, liver, kidney or blood diseases.

However, conservative treatment has certain disadvantages:

1. Conservative medication does not produce immediate results and there is a risk of rupture of the pregnancy focus, which can be life-threatening once ruptured.

2. Conservative medication continues for a long time, and the treatment failure rate is as high as 50%.

3. The embryo killed during conservative treatment of ectopic pregnancy will organize in situ, often causing blockage of the fallopian tube.

4. Medication treatment cannot find the cause of ectopic pregnancy, and the next pregnancy is likely to result in another ectopic pregnancy.

5. Conservative treatment of ectopic pregnancy can cause prolonged bleeding and lead to complications such as anemia and infection.

6. Conservative treatment takes a long time and poses the threat of abdominal pain and vaginal bleeding. During treatment, patients are always worried about treatment failure and are under great psychological pressure. Therefore, surgical treatment is the best option for ectopic pregnancy.

Ectopic pregnancy is a problem that every woman of childbearing age should guard against, and it is necessary to know more about it. Once an ectopic pregnancy ruptures and bleeds, it is very dangerous, so it is very important to detect and diagnose ectopic pregnancy before it ruptures. Ectopic pregnancy without bleeding can be treated with non-surgical methods to see the effect. If the effect is good, there will be no need for surgery.
