Eyes are a window for us to understand the outside world and a reflection of beauty. However, even these important eyes can cause many problems. The most common ones are dark circles and eye bags. Since they are all problems under the eyes, people tend to confuse dark circles and eye bags. So what is the difference between dark circles and eye bags? The appearance of these two affects the beautiful appearance of the eyes. Considering our current pursuit of beauty, dark circles and eye bags are not something we want to encounter in our daily lives. However, the probability of dark circles and eye bags is still very high. This requires everyone to correctly understand the difference between dark circles and eye bags so that they can be better treated. Therefore, we will first look at the causes of dark circles so that everyone can better distinguish between the two. The so-called dark circles are of course a color problem. The area around the eyes that is darker than the skin color is called dark circles. The eye circles are light black with no fat protrusions. The cause is overwork and insufficient rest, which causes the autonomic nervous system to become unbalanced, leading to poor blood circulation and blood deposition in the blood vessels around the eyes. Theoretically, dark circles are caused by the darker tone of the eyelids around the eyes. It is related to factors such as the amount of melanin in the eyelids, the color of the blood vessels in the eyelids, and the direction of light projection. Because the upper eyelid skin is the thinnest in the whole body, the melanin of the skin or the blood color under the skin can easily be reflected and shown on the surface of the eyelid. In addition, when light is projected, a dark shadow will appear in the recessed area behind the highlighted object. For example, a light source coming from the right side of the nose will create a dark shadow at the left corner of the eye, making that location appear slightly darker. Eye bags: With the increase of age and the continuous effect of gravity, the skin of the lower eyelid becomes loose, the orbital septum and external force decrease, the orbital septum sags, and the supporting force of the extraocular muscles decreases, then bag-like enlargement occurs above the outer edge of the orbit and the cheek-eye groove becomes more severe. This is what is called eye bags. Eye bags are different from dark circles. The aging of the tissues around the eyes causes the elasticity of the muscles around the eye sockets to decrease, causing the fat bags protecting the eyes to gradually flow outward to the eye sockets. The upper eyelid skin is subjected to long-term bad stimulation, such as improper massage, tearing, frequent eye makeup, kidney disease, pregnancy, poor rest or frequent fatigue from staying up late, etc., which can cause and aggravate the formation of eye bags. |
