Cervical opening after childbirth

Cervical opening after childbirth

Some people say that when a woman gives birth, it's like her whole body is shattered and then put back together again. The pain of childbirth is unbearable for most people. After giving birth, women will find that their bodies are quietly changing, such as the cervix. What causes the flower-shaped cervix after giving birth?

If a woman is pregnant, her physical condition will change after giving birth. If only the shape of the vaginal opening changes, it is unlikely to cause any problems.

The cervical opening of a woman who has not been pregnant is circular, while the cervical opening of a woman who has been pregnant is straight. For other shapes, it may be due to abnormal growth and development or some disease.

The adult uterus is shaped like an inverted pear and can be divided into three parts: the body, the fundus, and the cervix. The upper round convex part is the fundus of the uterus, and the narrow part below is above the bilateral fallopian tube channels. The part between the bottom and the neck is the uterus. The inner wall of the Jigong is quite narrow and can be divided into two parts: upper and lower. The upper end is in the body of the uterus, called the uterine body, which is a triangular, flattened cavity with its base facing upwards, the fallopian tubes on both sides, and the tip facing downwards to the cervical canal. The lower part is inside the cervix, called the cervical canal, which is fusiform, with the upper opening leading upwards to the uterine body, and the lower opening leading to the vagina, called the cervical os. The cervical os of non-pregnant women is ring-shaped with smooth and neat edges. After delivery, the cervical os of pregnant women becomes transversely fissured.

It is normal for women to have changes in the shape of their cervix after giving birth. For example, if the cervix becomes flower-shaped after childbirth, if the patient does not have any abnormal symptoms while the shape of the cervix changes, then there is no need to worry. It is generally not a big problem. I hope that women who have given birth can stay healthy.
