How to take care of the pain in finger joints after giving birth

As we all know, pregnancy is a very happy but also very hard thing. There are many things to pay attention to during pregnancy. So after giving birth, during the confinement period, you should pay attention to many issues to ensure that the pregnant woman has a good body. So what measures should be taken if you experience pain in your finger joints after giving birth? Let’s take a look at how to take care of it.

Pain in the finger joints after giving birth is related to coldness and insufficient qi and blood in your body. White tongue coating indicates coldness, and you should take dietary therapy to replenish qi and blood.

Avoid cold food. Most fruits are cold and are not recommended. Try to eat light food and avoid spicy, greasy food to reduce the burden on the spleen and stomach. It is recommended that you cook your food well before eating, preferably into a paste to facilitate absorption. The stomach and intestines are afraid of cold food. The cold here includes not only the temperature of the food, but also the properties of the food. You have qi and blood deficiency, so it is recommended that you eat small meals frequently every day, eat more blood and kidney-enriching foods, and eat them in the form of a paste. Breakfast can be various porridges, preferably black rice porridge (soak it the night before, boil it the next day and break it, add Guyuan paste and one or two eggs when eating, stir well and boil it). It cannot be millet porridge, which is cold in nature. Do not eat mung beans, red beans and other gas-reducing ones. Lunch is staple food with side dishes, with a meat-vegetable ratio of 1:1. Main ingredients include beef, pork, chicken, potatoes, bok choy, Chinese cabbage, lettuce, green vegetables, onions, baby cabbage, and leeks. They are stewed and eaten well, and the food should be chopped as finely and soft as possible to facilitate absorption. You can take Guyuan paste 1-2 times a day, 1 spoon each time.

Eat sea shrimps 1-2 times a week, but do not eat river fish or shrimps; eat eels 1-2 times a week, which are very effective in replenishing blood; do not eat laxative foods such as radish, hawthorn, and coriander; do not eat diuretic foods such as coix seed, red bean, winter melon, and cucumber; do not eat spicy and irritating foods such as chili peppers and fried foods.

After waking up every morning, rub the lung meridian on the inside of your arm back and forth 100 times, and then rub the stomach meridian and spleen meridian on your thighs 50 times each. This can effectively promote gastrointestinal absorption and expel toxins from the body in a timely manner. At noon, rub the heart meridian on the inside of your arm, slowly up and down 100 times, then rub the kidney points on your waist 100 times to nourish and strengthen your kidneys. Before going to bed at night, rub the triple burner meridian in the middle of the outer side of the arm back and forth 100 times, which can effectively relieve body fatigue and improve sleep quality.

Use 6 green moxa sticks to fumigate the lower abdomen to the navel back and forth, once a week, 20-30 minutes each time. It can promote blood circulation in the lower abdomen. When fumigating with moxa, be sure to maintain the indoor temperature and avoid cold. Take good smoke exhaust measures, as smelling mugwort smoke too much will make you feel discouraged. Pay attention to food supplements after fumigation. Before fumigation, eat a piece of ginger, 10 red dates, and 10 longans cooked into a paste.

Keep doing the waist rotation exercise: push your waist to the left, then turn forward, right, and backward in a clockwise direction (the whole process should be slow, your shoulders should not move, and you should slowly turn 30 to 50 circles). Then turn counterclockwise 30 to 50 times. Can improve blood supply to organs.

The above introduces some care methods that should be taken for finger joint pain after giving birth. These care methods can help mothers relieve finger joint pain. If this situation occurs for a long time, you must go to the hospital for treatment in time because it may be the occurrence of some arthritis. I hope these methods can help everyone.
