How to check pregnancy in hospital

When women are just pregnant, if they are not very sure, they need to go to the hospital for examination, so that they can have some understanding of whether they are pregnant. In the early stages of pregnancy, women's bodies will also have some changes, the most common of which are nausea, drowsiness, and enlarged breasts. These are all very common conditions. So what methods does the hospital use to check whether a woman is pregnant? There are many aspects.

How to check pregnancy in hospital:

1. Early pregnancy test paper: Early pregnancy test paper can generally detect pregnancy time about 3-5 days after the menstrual period is overdue. If the test paper shows two red lines, it means that you are pregnant, otherwise you are not pregnant.

2. B-ultrasound examination: The time for B-ultrasound detection of early pregnancy is generally about a week after the menstruation is delayed. You can go to the hospital for a B-ultrasound examination to see if you are pregnant. If you can see the pregnancy halo under the B-ultrasound, it means you are pregnant.

3. Blood HCG: When is the best time to do an early pregnancy test? To test whether you are pregnant, you can usually go to the hospital for a blood HCG test about 20 days after having sex to check the HCG content in the blood.

4. Basal body temperature: A woman’s body temperature is below 36.5 degrees before ovulation, and rises by 0.3-0.5 degrees after ovulation. If the egg is not fertilized, progesterone levels will drop after about a week and body temperature will return to normal. If pregnant, the body temperature remains high. The time for this early pregnancy test starts from before pregnancy until one week after ovulation. If the high temperature phenomenon still persists after one week and lasts for more than 18 days, it can be confirmed that pregnancy is confirmed. This test method can be said to be the earliest method of early pregnancy testing, and it can also be said to be the longest method of early pregnancy testing, because body temperature must be measured every day for at least one week.

After understanding the hospital's methods of checking pregnancy, women should actively cooperate when doing these examinations, so that it will be of great help to their own examination results. In addition, if women feel uncomfortable during the process of checking whether they are pregnant, they should promptly report it, so that they will have some understanding of what to do.
