Why are there white lesions on the vulva?

Many women develop gynecological diseases due to worsening of the disease. Many women have minor problems when they first become ill, and then improper treatment will lead to pathological changes in the patient's condition. So why do white lesions on the vulva occur? Let's ask the experts to introduce this issue to us.

The exact cause of white lesions of the vulva is unknown. It may be related to the following factors: genes, autoimmunity, sex hormone deficiency or decreased sex hormone receptors, etc. Vulvar squamous epithelial hyperplasia may be related to vulvar moisture and long-term stimulation by secretions, leading to vulvar itching and repeated scratching.

The main symptom is severe itching of the vulva. The itching may last from 2 to 3 months from onset to treatment, or even up to 20 years. The severity of the itching is regardless of season or day or night. Patients with vulvar squamous hyperplasia may experience more severe itching. If accompanied by trichomoniasis or candidal vaginitis, the secretions will be more, and the local burning, stinging and itching are related to the damage or infection of the skin and mucous membranes. There is varying degrees of local hypopigmentation of the skin and mucous membranes, often with edema, chapped skin and scattered superficial ulcers.

Vulvar leukoplakia does bring a lot of pain and inconvenience to patients and their families, but in daily life, many people suffering from this disease do not know what they should pay attention to about this disease.

(1) In daily life, you should wear loose, breathable underwear, mainly made of pure cotton, and avoid wearing underwear made of chemical fibers such as acrylic;

(2) The affected area should be kept dry, ventilated and cool;

(3) Some women are too clean and have the habit of washing their vulva once or several times a day. We recommend that since the female vulva has a self-cleaning function, it is generally sufficient to wash it 2-3 times a week. Do not use any detergents when washing (because they are generally alkaline). The vulva can be washed with Jiaoyan Ph4 weak acid formula female care liquid. Avoid warm water or excessive heat.

The above is the expert’s opinion on this issue. If the treatment is carried out according to the above method, it can well ensure that the patient’s treatment will not be affected by the above problems. However, patients should not use drugs indiscriminately, which will easily lead to worsening of the condition and affect the patient’s health. Finally, I wish the patient a speedy recovery.
