Precautions after wearing the ring

Precautions after wearing the ring

Family planning is China's birth policy, so when Chinese people become pregnant must be included in the plan. And generally each family can only have one child. The reproductive period of women lasts for more than thirty years. During this long reproductive period, contraceptive measures must be taken. There are many methods of contraception, such as oral contraceptives, IUDs, condoms, etc. Long-term oral contraceptive use is very harmful to women's bodies.

The IUD is the abbreviation of the contraceptive ring. It is a contraceptive measure taken by women. Generally, women after giving birth use the IUD for contraception. This contraceptive method is simple and convenient, and is deeply loved by everyone. There are also things to pay attention to after wearing the IUD, which are introduced below.

1. 2 to 3 days after inserting the ring, you should rest and keep the vulva clean. Avoid sexual intercourse and bathing or showering for two weeks to prevent infection.

2. After inserting the IUD, if the bleeding is heavy, lasts for a long time, and the lower abdominal pain and back pain worsen, you should go to the hospital for examination to decide whether to remove the IUD or replace it.

3. Menstruation will come as usual after the IUD is inserted, but a few people will experience increased menstruation in the first 2 to 3 months after the IUD is inserted, and occasionally bloody leucorrhea. Generally, they will gradually adapt after 3 months of wearing the IUD and can naturally return to normal.

4. In a very small number of women, the IUD may fall off during menstruation and bowel movements within 2 to 3 months after placement. The rate of IUD removal is highest, and bleeding and infection are also more common 3 to 6 months after insertion, so you should pay attention. So regarding the precautions when wearing an IUD, it is best for women to have a checkup once a month, three months, six months, and one year after having the IUD, and then once a year thereafter.

5. After inserting the IUD, if there is a short-term amenorrhea or a delay of several days in menstruation, and there is continuous or intermittent irregular vaginal bleeding, or lower abdominal pain, the possibility of ectopic pregnancy should be considered, and you should go to the hospital for examination and diagnosis in time.

Some women have heavier menstrual flow and lose a lot of blood after getting an IUD, which can easily cause iron deficiency anemia. Therefore, women with IUDs should pay attention to supplementing iron in their daily diet. Foods rich in iron include. Spinach, pork liver, etc. Within two to three days after the placement of the ring, there may be a small amount of vaginal bleeding or increased leucorrhea, which usually disappears naturally after three to five days.
